Harvest is hiring!
Earlier this year I left agency life, which I had been in for over a decade, to join a product company called Harvest. It's a completely different world. One where deadlines are determined by customer requests and internal timelines, not by clients who make market assumptions or simply have budgets that have to be spent by a certain day. Both are fast paced, but it's a different mindset. Product companies are able to foster a sense of camaraderie more in my experience. Building towards a long term goal and having intimate knowledge of a code base or a process is gratifying in my experience so far.
Reason for this post is Harvest is hiring. We're hiring devs, biz devs, etc... If you are located near the headquarters in NYC great! If you are dev in the middle of the country like I am, that also works. We're looking for smart, energetic folks to join the team. If you think a product company is right for you and have a passion about building a great product that customers rely on, then come check us out: http://www.getharvest.com/careers
